Wayside Cottage
is situated in Frogholt, off the A20 to the west of Folkestone.From London - leave the M20 exit at Junction 12, take the A20 towards the Channel Tunnel and Ashford. Frogholt is the next turning on the right after Newington and before the roundabout signposted to Hythe and Elham.
From the Channel Tunnel
- Join the A20 to Folkestone (3rd exit at the roundabout). Frogholt is the first turning on the left.From Canterbury
- Take the A2 towards Dover but turn off at the first exit onto the B2065, which is signposted to Elham. Follow the road along the Elham Valley through Barham, Lyminge and Etchinghill. When you arrive at the A20 roundabout (about 20 mins), turn left and take the first turning on the left to Frogholt.By rail
- there are three stations within easy reach of Frogholt, Folkestone West, Folkestone Central and Sandling (not all trains stop at Folkestone West or Sandling). From the station either get a taxi or from Folkestone take a No.17 bus, asking to alight at Frogholt. Buses run every hour on weekdays but less frequently on Sundays.
